I'm Not Cinderella
I don't have a fairy Godmother
Or cute mice that stutter
I'm lucky enough to say
No wicked step sisters are in my way
I'm unlucky in another aspect
With different obstacles making me a wreck
I'm Not Cinderella
I don't have a castle invitation
Or a even a ballroom registration
No glass slippers on my feet
And I doubt a prince I'll ever meet
I'm Not Cinderella
I'm not as pretty
Although I'm giddy
I am a dreamer like her
And that's probably our only similarity
I'm NOT Cinderella
Because I don't have the fella'
