Fatality~

                             Shadows cast spells,

                             through séance channels...

                             Tears frozen from tarnished years.

                             A choppy chime,

                             seeps inside an open ear

                             severing a once sanctum soul.

An intimate evening of reddish hues
her lying heart eclipsed the moon

Frightened; cowers the child in the dark
for he must walk alone within’ his heart.

                             In memories footprints,

                             I drag my shadow

                             Succumbed with emptiness,

                             heartache and sorrow

A routine of which I can’t break free
                             like prometheus; chained to destiny

Welcomed home by the harbinger of woe
                             everyday like this,
leaves no tomorrow.

                             "Every day like this,

                                                           leaves no tomorrow..."

This is a really good poem There is a ton to this poem that is very good and i see no weaknessin it at all
You left enough mystery in this work to make the reader pay attention and make up his or her own mind
That is always a good thing

wow. well i liked this from the start, beautfilly stark and dark. but it really kicked in best for me from
Frightened; cowers the child in the dark
for he must walk alone within’ his heart.
i loved the end. this is the best poem i have read so far today. thanks for sharing, shall def be looking at some more of your work.

    It reads very well...
Almost as if I should hear piano in the background...

And the ending lines really just bring it all together,
It pulled me in until the end.

    I really loved it*** Truly

Whoo, yeah, this is the dark creeping through the veins, just sending a bit of chill down the spine. But, you got it in ya to write anything. Excellent collab, this just hits all the right notes.
    Wonderfully done, both of you.

It reads like a dark Ballad..On a stormy night and castles looming in the back...Death waiting and a broken heart...Shadows cast but no life...What a write you two have done!...Excellent!!!

    You always leave your footprint

your writing knows no limits. I like all of this poem not because of the subject matter but because of the subject it was written by.
Smile poeticweaver you are that subject.

Oh my... you opened your closet and you chose the cloke of the darke genre and you wear it well! This is wonderful especially for a co-write. I couldn't tell who wrote what. It is very smooth with a choppy structure breaking up couplets with single lines that adds to the foreboding image.
    Well done!

    Love,
    Amera♥

    Amazing Tim!
This was one of those poems
    wish i had written.
I loved the darkness of it, i don't know why,
but i read it slowly and it suited the sombre of it.
The metaphor was re-readabley brilliant, (Did i invent a new word there?)
I loved it all but to sat the best, well last four
    i found outstanding.
    "Everyday like this
    leaves no tomorrow"

Did you read how good that was!
    Great job i loved it.

well done sweetheart - you both have done an awesome job as with the way I have been feeling lately the following lines hit my heart with tears and I don't think I can express to you the reasons of the tears without sending more tears shed:
    Tears frozen from tarnished years.

    In memories footprints,
    I drag my shadow

    Succumbed with emptiness,
    heartache and sorrow

Welcomed home by the harbinger of woe
everyday like this, leaves no tomorrow.

    "Every day like this,

    leaves no tomorrow..."

Well done honey!! much love forever always xoxoxoxoxo
