Dawn is breaking,
Light cuts across the sky.
Deer are feeding,
Birds spread their wings to fly.
A soft breeze blows
All the leaves twirl.
Scampering on a limb above,
A playful, hungry squirrel.
The forest is awakened
With the rising sun.
New promises, new chances await.
A day has begun.

Now This is Something
A boy from texas can get his teeth into. A wonderful poem on a good subject with some images that appeal to the targeted audience. In this case, the one holding the contest.
I can imagine myself right there on the back porch seeing all this for myself as I glance accross the pasture.
Many Sincere Thanks!
