Pause, take a breath
Release the anxiety buildup
(The day wasn't worth it)
Glance around
At the trees, desk, or mirror
The laughter of youth
Or the mystery of silence
Reflect upon the chance
That every being around,
Every specimin above and below
Just happen to be near you
In that one instance
