You walked me home at the end of the night,
No streetlamps, the moon our only light.
You walked me up onto my porch,
swaying on your feet, back and forth.
I looked at the ground and mumbled 'good bye',
I decided to chance it and look you in the eyes.
Eyes closed, you leaned towards me.
I took a deep breath, I thought I was ready.
Colliding together, my lips met yours,
We were tongue wrestling when my mom opened the door.
I squealed and jumped away – at least I tried,
You tried to pull away, I was ready to die.
We were both blushing madly,
My mom sure wasn't happy.
Driving to the orthodontist in the back seat,
Bound together by the braces on our teeth.

Not only is it hilarious, a top that it is also… RHYMING?! I mean really, wow! I think it could happen… though what a situation! (I wouldn’t want to be in.) *grins… at the thought of a stuck kiss… -Blanche

the last part was very funny!!! lol... I love the poem I really do good luck in the contest!! -
This was a very funny write. But then again, what I had in mind for that option was for the poems to be funny, too, even though I already had a funny option. I enjoyed this, as well, because the flow was very nice and the write was like something I would think up... and that's a good thing.
Favorite stanza was the last one because the really made me realize what the story was about.
Good luck in my contest! -
