Have you ever tried to imagine darkness,
And to feel all your thoughts fall to the floor?
All have you ever been calmed by the thought,
That one day you may feel nothing at all?
All that matters now would mean nothing in death,
Those times you’ve cried on lonely cold nights,
And why should it matter that you feel nothing at all,
When darkness has filled all those echoes of light?

Nothingness feels a lot like depression, that I know quite a bit about. I can feel the emptiness in your poem, it is very powerful. Great write.

Dark, yet thought provoking. I really liked the fifth line. It made me think of how much people may worry about things in life, whether we have all we want, whether we have good jobs that guarantee us security in the future, whether we can reach our hopes and dreams for a so-called better life. But, really life is so precious that we shouldn't worry about the things we don't or may not ever have, maybe people should start appreciating what they do have in life. Keep up the great work.
