Her life, in her eyes

I see through
Her hard-fought life
Tangled in the wounds
Which she carries inside

How a snowdrop might be a dream
How a pencil could write magic
How a simple song is so beautiful
How a kiss can have no meaning

The affection showed for her
May overcome the suffering
Make all her fears turn into hopes
So grateful, for things we might not be

The silence of her eyes
Would make you writhe in pain
If she solemnly smiled
My amnesia would reappear

Author notes

the second verse is sort of to explain how she can be way more happy and excited and grateful, for things we might not really take any notice to... But I emphasise that on the last line of the second last verse.
I'm not very inspired, a few twisted feelings are going on inside me right now for many reasons. I had to enter for you though, and for Natasha!!!
Love you!
MAria

Maria, Another deep and solemn piece that you wrote here. You captured me from the very first word and I hung on each one right down to the last syllable. Very powerful and filled with such emotion. You looked inside the picture and went straight to the soul. You have matured immensely with your writing skills and I see it so much in this. Kudos for you my dear sweet niece. Congratulations on the award. I will always "rave on for Ray Von"!!!!! Thank you again for sharing in your gift. This was truly excellent. Love always, Auntie Joyce
