Broken glass chatterer's, bullet shot's round off.
Skidding cars scream to a stop, people ducking down hitting the ground.
You got nothing to lose, forget the good history of youthful day's.
Now put up your hands, you got a reason to live don't waste it on this...
Your never gonna win, but you just keep running.
Looking back you seemed to be just a regular kid,
winning the nationals.
Racing at full speed to be someone in a life that had promise.
Had parents to stand by your side,
wishing for the stars to gleam in your eyes.
You had everything at your standstill, but missing one thing.
But when you opened your eyes, you found the one.
They gave you all their love, but it all fell apart.
Your parents had a bad accident, they didn't make it through.
The love of your life gave up on you.....
The rain poured on down, washing away the dreams, hopes and your complete sanity.
You tried moving on in your life, keeping up the dreams that were never meant
to come true..
But you tripped on the winning wire, and you lost it all on the way down.
Soon you fell into the wrong crowd.
Bargaining for a life fulfilled with crime.
Busting down doors, marking a territory that wasn't meant to be your's....
But you went to far, dealing with drugs, selling away your soul.
The one that led you into this, was your worst inside enemies.
You tried to stay in the right crowd, but being pulled in by depression
caused all the mixed messages.
Your not alone in the pain, the mix thoughts, the feeling of being lost.
But now your stuck here....
Pay the time back, do the time you sorely misused....
Pick up your head, hold it high, and drop all your loot.
Don't pass away your life for something trivially pursuited.
Hitting the ground hard, bodies of flaming rage smother you.
People gripping your arms, binding them to your sides, telling you "it's over".
Your rein on the world has slipped into nothingness.
Don't fight the will of your mind, just give in.
You got nothing to lose now, everyone has to do it sometime.
Don't worry you'll get off easy, your a kid lost in the world.
they see something good in you........
Now you know what to do, walk with your head high, smile because now
your free of the weights of an adults worry.
Walking up the concrete stair's of the police station.
Windows barred in consumption, you see your reflection.
Pass the history of your life behind.
Sitting on the chair of accusation, you wait for your punishmeant.
A shadow looms over you, a warm hand reaches out, and touches your face.
Saying "Your free now, come back to the old you".....
Bow your head and except the generosity.
The love of your life knew that you needed them, that the fact
is they never really gave up on you......
You just gave up on being strong in a life that no longer supported you...
