When you get engrossed in a distant image
One that you cannot see other than in your mind
But can feel the warmth it generates inside your very heart and soul
That is when you know you have found something
When without even the slightest touch
You feel a tingle on your skin
Even to raise a smile without return
Makes you realise you have something
To laugh at the meaning behind the nature of every thought
Knowing that a mirror image is happening somewhere
Even the thought of not knowing the location doesn’t matter
You still know you have discovered something
It doesn’t matter at all that it’s invisible to the naked eye
Or even the fact that it may never be seen doesn’t matter
It’s those little quirks of the inner satisfaction you have
Knowing that whatever it is, it’s a special something
Something very endearing and worthwhile
Something you don’t want to lose
Something that will grow in intensity
Something to cherish for years to come
That something my friends is this
‘The Love of Friends’
You don’t have to see them
You don’t have to touch them
You don’t have to hear them
You don’t even have to physically speak to them
Because on here
On AP
Friends are there for you when you need them
And when you find one
You’ll know after only a few days
That you will indeed, have found the Love of a friend.
I’ve found that special something, on many an occasion.

Couldn't Live Without My AP Friends
