A Place in Hell

The darkness spreads an unholy war,
As my limber body floats beneath dust,
No hope here or chance of redemption,
My soul is lost where evil has hidden it,
Anger overcomes me replacing all love,
Disintegrating all my loves and crushes,
Tender kisses become painful memories,
And my heart once kind is twisted to hell,
A glimpse of my reflection smashes the mirror,
For only God’s creatures may see themselves,
And those who coveted may burn and perish,
Evil has no death, and death is the doorway to heaven,
My fond memories of love are now tarnished,
My kind heart festering by the veins of Satan,
And now he has found within me no soul,
Therefore granting me a place in hell.

A dark write indeed, certainly sounds and compounds a hellish existence. Particularly chilling was " evil has no death" which added to the allusion that evil resonates for eternity.

  • this is rele creative and dark...i've been there and still trying to find my way out...overall this is a great piece.
