After all this time,
I still can't let go of you.
Each day that passes,
I miss you even more.

I pray at night I'll see you again,
Then cry myself to sleep,
Just to dream of you,
And wake again with you still in my head.

There's too many miles between us,
But I'd be willing to walk every single one,
Just to see your smiling face again,
Or to hug you tightly.

Your memory plagues my mind constantly,
And seeing her is only a reminder,
Telling me that I can never have you,
And God, it hurts so badly to know.

I'd rather be back to the old days, though.
I'd rather be able to see you every day,
Even if you're with her,
Than not see you at all.

I'll keep praying that you return soon,
If only for a day,
Just to let me see your face again,
Just so that I can hug you once more.
