Color blossoms fluttered soul
dancing windy fields of grassland,
velvet dances, blowing soul
to know of glimpse,
and heaven's velvet.
In my passing ear, whispered crickets,
rise to river's wayward beat,
as light is brighter wish to savor
in paper flowing breath to ocean.
Fill my sky inside aurora
when night is close,
and sun does sizzle,
my mind of moon, to mist in slivers
of wilder child in search of freedom.
Still love does wing
in silk to tatter,
as smile in season's clammy question,
craving word,
to rest in satin
holding more than soundless shivers.

Beautiful picture of a butterfly, and the poem is a great write. Nice imagery.

This is the second time in this contest I am left speechless by the beauty of the poem presented to me. This is simply STELLAR! Masterfully written, it employs all the poetic devices with great expertise. The metaphors are sumptuous, the imagery brilliantly vivid and abundant. I am left, once again, without words... Very Well Done! Thanks for your entry, and Good Luck!
