One Voice

One Voice

 

 

            We should all become one AP voice,

               Bringing praise for Kevin, and us together;

            Strength and comfort from kindred spirits

               Like a soothing calm in stormy weather

            Hearts united through the written word,

               Pictures penned and rhythms heard;

            Lives enriched by poetic dreams

               That soften even lifes sorrow, it seems;

            To anchors we all owe so much

               Who make it possible to stay in touch.

    Now this is what I am talking about!!! Brilliantly done, your man (congrats by the way ) will be pleased to see you say these things, everyone on here deserves praise and delight when they pen something because all pieces are personal and have special meaning to the writer and hopefully the emotion gets to the reader as well. What we don't need is little s*&ts that cannot just read and go away if they don't like it, or at least just say something nice without all the critiquing. Some of us just enjoy writing, others think they are 'God' and 'perfect' Sheesh!!! Luckily I have encounted only a few, more of the beautiful souls such as you and Mike, and I am blessed by your friendship and words. Enough waffling now. Love, Chez

    Even without comment, I had no doubt who the author of this pice was. It states the facts like a true poet could only do. Each line has a feeling of crystal clear love for all who touch this writers heart. From comments, to friendship, kindred spirits one and all, we share each others aspirations to become one with each other through the written word. Bringing a breeze of contentment to every writer, regardless of style, creed, colour or religion, on here we are indeed equal. poets speaking from the heart.
