My teeth are cherry flavored cough drops,
I lick them. My saliva is rich with
aromatic sweet flavor. I can’t wait and
bite down hard, grinding them
into sugary slurry.

after a shower, I see it’s fogged,
I wipe it and, Charles Manson,
with a maniacal look on his face
is staring back at me.

I’m walking into work, everyone is staring,
laughing hysterically, I look down at myself
to discover; I’m wearing nothing but
Spiderman underwear.

I’m Indiana Jones, torch in hand,
making my way down an ancient
dusty passageway,
I come to a large stone door,
with all my strength I open it;
I’ve discovered an empty room, littered
with pizza boxes and beer cans.

I’m an actor, in a Federico Fellini film
playing a brokenhearted mime and
everyone else is blind.

The first stanza was like bait I couldn't resist. Nice start, I got chill bumps. The second two stanzas seem weak to me. The third stanza is cute. The last stanza reeled me in, I like it a lot. You have strange dreams.

Thoroughly enjoyable write. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I clicked on the title... but I was very happy I did. The last stanza is such a great mental image in my mind... the mime with nobody to watch. Great stuff!
