When I walked alone
In the darkness of a night
With a moon climbing above
The stars twinkle all over the sky
Enticing all to keep the company
Lost as I am in my own thoughts
Failed to respond to their pleas.
Loneliness is isolation
While all around us keep company
Only to get discarded
By once preoccupations
With assorted thoughts of the world.
The charming moon
and the twinkling stars,
Never ever betray us
so fond of us are they,
Neither let us down
In times of ebb and flow.
A bird flying
unlike me
is one with surroundings,
learnt to commune
with everything around,
For it has no ambition or next moment
To build a world of its own.

Some revealing and intriguing thoughts you have penned here, A really well written piece that has a very unusual point of reference for our impact on the world, we are not willing to live with our world we just want to take it over,
A great entry and thankyou for it, best of luck to you in this contest,

This was another really good write. Reading it really made me feel at peace with myself. I don't know if you will find that comment strange or not, but thats what I felt. I liked the lines "Loneliness is isolation" and "Neither let us down In times of ebb and flow." Very well writen.
good job on this one -
