Hidding In Hatred

Some things I never said to you,
Before you left from here.
How I felt, you never knew,
Because I never let you near.

Some things I did to you in fear,
Because I thought you'd see right through me.
But now that you are no longer here,
I wish you could see.

I am ashamed of things that I said,
While I was hiding from you.
I was hiding in hatred,
from the feelings, I never knew.

Now I am back in this place,
realizing everything I have lost.
Nothing can ever replace,
When our paths crossed.

I lost the battle,
But I will not loose the war.

I love you,
wish you were here!

I miss my boyfriend. We only live like 30 minutes apart but it seems like forever.

This is a very good poem. And how true is it that we push so many people away when we are trying to hide from the world? Sad but true...great write!
