eyes transfixed on a different attraction,
one of affliction and suffering,
one that had hypnotized someone important
into a life of distraction and broken promises,
one that come and gone years ago,
that held wisdom and love in their hands
and whose life ended before the threshold
of a place of business where they had truly lived.
Author notes
I'm not sure if anyone will really understand this unless they can get inside my head or will bother to ask me what the heck I am thinking, but to me it makes sense and fits the picture. Just the way I imagine things.

I didn't really understand the first half, but self-admitted it would be difficult for anyone not able to get inside your head. The second half I not only understood but thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for your contribution to my first contest!
