Musical poetry everyone savours.
Starting off lento, all quiet and slow.
This is the way that my poem will go.
C major D minor, I really don’t mind.
Chords or staccato all these you will find.
Poetry’s musical, go with the flow.
This is the way that I’ll write it and so……
When it seems flat,
You will say that,
She must be insane.
I’ll simply discard it,
and write something new,
and so I’ll just start….. a…..gain.

The music was evident from the first line, I didn't need your author comment. Imagine Julie Andrews singing this!
I love the musical terminology - and adore the wit of "Poetry’s musical, go with the flow."
Best of luck!

Dear Passim
Very entertaining, funny piece.
I like the picture! Judging by his hair-do, it must have been Sunday when this was taken!
Great poem, best of luck!
John

I adore this one! Witty and whimsical, just perfect for the contest. I like the fact that it has a fixed theme, and I love how you've given poetry musical qualities ... very unique!

Thanks for entering, and good luck!
