I believe that, as the line says so, if you put a barrier and keep telling yourself you can't do or will never find something then you will stop yourself from doing it. Now if you have a little faith and believe, you'll get there

    that is somewhat true. I have been searching so long for love that I have almost given up hope. but your two line write, makes sense. I think i'll give love another shot.

    a good peice though there is no need for the author notes explaining the poem as you have just said it in the 2 lines!
