Walking down Old Oaken Bucket Road
Amid the snow white angel lace flowers
Thorny bushes lined the sparkling brook
Crow swooped down to quench his thirst
Spongy grass clippings lined the tile walk
lyrical chords of songbirds saying good night
heading for home with a jar full of flowers
As I slip quietly in after my brisk walk
Down Old Oaken Bucket Road

A beautiful scene
A very nice poem that you illustrated very well. I love poems like these. You have a very unique style in your writting that I am not used to seeing. I believe that plays a big role as to why I enjoy reading your poetry. Thank you for sharing this. -
