The Journey

Life is a mysterious journey that bends and curves many times, growing and teaching and encouraging u to find our way in the universe.

When I was young, I lived in squallier, penniless, pride less, broken and torn, physically and emotionally.

In my teens I strove to understand what was around me and change, hoping some one would see the princess that was within me.

When I left home striving to find healing, I was trapped by what I thought was love but it ended to be a living hell

Now…
I can’t believe thins are going good, I am dreaming, clear sky’s ahead. Who would of thought my journey would have brought me here.  What a wonderful end to a massive journey

Please tell me what you think

    Life's a journey -- you're so right!

I agree with the title and sentiments here! This short poem is attempting to say a lot in a very short space! I think the narrator and the references to the reader are a little mixed up -- as are the direction of time (tenses). These problems can be easily fixed in a re-write! You chose a tough subject to write about and have included good images, like "trapped" "dreaming" -- I think that you should develop your imagery a bit more and add some length to this poem and it will be marvelous! Good work!

    lovely

I think the best poetry is good because it expresses something we can share. I share this with you.
