Refuge

Stagger with burning expectation
away from the heat
of a day's fiery visitation,
crawling in dire and despair need
towards any darken path
where shadows quiet
the tears of light.

Searching always
for that one certain ebony hue
that kills the pain
from when one stared
too long
into the sun of dreams
and ended up blind to reality.

Sobbing from the scars
creating poor vision,
hoping a shroud of blacken excuses
will let the blurry images
become creations of the world
one sees in heaven mirages.

Finally hearing the voice of purest sight,
calling from a special abyss,
overcoming fears of the blackness,
discovering their can be peace
at midnight.

    Wonderful lines!

The whole piece manages to create subtle execution where a certain shade of warmth stays.
