Don’t say sorry,
I can’t hear you,
it goes through me.
You’re not speaking with your heart.
Forgive me,
all for what I say;
my mouth is before my head.
I’m cringing when I hurt you.
Don’t yell,
because the world doesn’t really care,
but I will listen,
though you won’t speak,
I will listen.
I look at you sad,
I look,
then you look at me,
But we together,
aren’t seeing.
Looking not seeing.
Both aren’t talking,
never hearing, for the word form but never said.
You won’t talk.
I still love you,
I will hear you when you’re ready, not before,
now is not time.
The essence is not here.
Later a promise to you.

I would have preferred to see more imagery within this, the emotional foundation is strong. Otherwise, nicely done.

Beautifully written, a simplicity that expresses the emotion + whirlwind confusion. Great write, keep it up. -blackburn -
