Upon a precious mind, silence did fall
Eyes unable to focus, only staring at the wall
The events of one fateful, tragic night
She never made it home, something wasn't right
They found her car, but she wasn't inside
And as they feared, she lay cold nearby
Thrown from the car, with no seatbelt on
But the life of this girl, was far from gone
Miracles pumped life into a lifeless body
And a journey began to rediscover somebody
Healing of the mind, patience is key
I've never seen one as loving and dedicated as he
Praising her progress, encouraging her goals
Showering her with love and caressing her soul
He kisses her head, waits for her mind to remember
Trying to take her back to times they were together
Little by little, this girl will heal
Will she ever be the same, only time shall reveal
And at the tender age of 18, he doesn't leave her side
There seem to be no boundaries by which this love does abide
Every day he talks to her, touching her hand
Such a young, precious heart, and a truly special man
Deserved the special gift she gave the day she spoke a word
To his heart, to his love, it was his own name that he heard

This is about a 16 year old girl who suffered a brain injury and as she recovers, how amazing and devoted her boyfriend is. Wow.

Ah that twas good. I loved the beginning the best, the choice of words and everything was great. It sounds really nice too, of him. Tragic though...but very sweet. I love the story.
