~Saffron yellow rose, friendship~
Beginning with ringing laughter
The spark ignited with our
Constant companionship
~Ruby red rose, passion~
We became sweethearts
Our love deepened, rich and beautiful
Nothing could contain our rapture
~Cobalt blue rose, tragedy~
Disaster befell upon
Our ill-fated souls
We finally bid each other adieu
~Charcoal black rose, death~
Demise of what we thought
Would be an immortal love
Is now withered, gone
