mais c'est ma prérogative;
dans l'encencyclopédie des saints
il y a n'était pas un passge me nettoyer
de mon péché.

plutôt,
je dessine un sauveur sur ma peau,
et j'autorise le rouge à devenir
une excuse que m'aveugle
de qui je suis.

tel encre
part une apparition d'espoir.

mais ne plus; espoir m'a perdu
son nom.

...

it's nostalgic,
the view from within my eyes.
i see myself in the heresy of the words
i say, the heritage (or heirloom) that misses your voice
upon my walls; always,
i loved you.

but this is my prerogative;
in the encyclopedia of saints
there was not a way to cleanse me
of my sin.

rather,
i drew a savior on my skin
and i permitted the red to become
an excuse that blinds me
from who i am.

such ink
leaves an apparition of hope.

but no longer; hope has lost
its name to me.

wonderfully written, kind of heartbreaking though i truly love this piece. well worded, it makes me feel what you must've felt writing this..sadness & loss...life is full of it, beautifully penned.

This is beautiful. I love the two diffrent languages. It make this poem flow beautifully and sail with more than words can really say. God bless you brother in all that you do.

    A Class by Yourself...

...with this one. You show so much maturity in your writing. I read this and am simply stunned. I find myself wishing to write like this. You have mastered phrasing with a unique and original metaphor in this. It is like you are on another plane of existence with this in your artistry.

I truly love this. the english version is good as well, but I like the french version even more. Life is so unjust, you're more talented at writing then I am in 2 languages now! I identify with this poem so much right now. It's as though you were inside my head and poured out my thoughts, although in a more eloquent and articulate fashion.
I've said it before and will say it again, you're brilliant.
