I watch as you descend into the ever darkness
you have but one twinkling ball of light
Farther I urge you on, until we reach the cave that is farthest
Decomposing flesh you are greeted with in sight
Groundnuts cross and twist though my bones
My eyeholes, bleached white with darkness, stare out; empty
Black blood lies in pools, becoming maggots’ homes
With just one look you let your stomach empty
Swaying from mead and ardent spirits you are
You bend precautiously over my remains, never knowing
Suddenly you’re floating, outside among the stars
With no human body your spirit is glowing
This is your reward for believing a Grimalkin
A shrewish old woman, only knowing revenge
Nothing has changed in my heart since now and then
Now I still wish for empty revenge
Do not judge my twisted soul
I was made by those of the living
Just like me this was not the way you wanted to go
But to the lord of darkness there must be giving
I shall strike again, do not think you are my only
For I have killed others before
So do not think you were the only
Who received this token for listening to my lore
Signed,
Lady Grimalkin.
Author notes
Be warned this poem may not make complete sence, it's a second half to one of my already posted poems called Grimalkin, I recommend reading Grimalkin to know the whole tale.

OMG, Hope, creature of the night I am,
but this chills bones, makes me want to check
the locks on the doors.
You have created a dark, dark mood, a character so wicked the reader recoils in horror!
If this was your intent you have succeeded fabulously!
This is not for the faint of heart!!!
