The Cornucopia of Life

Missing image
The Cornucopia of life, filled with tender flesh of desire.

As I ripen on your vines, cling to your divine branches.
Sweet is the ecstacy of your firming fruits.
Peaches and Nectarines consume my exoticness.

Like two Peas in a pod engaged within the Spinach leafs.
In a vegetating state we indulge together grain by grain.
As our Cornucopia of emotions spring into that Squashing delight.

Chile Peppers burn my sexual arousal, flowering my drive.
Consummating the dreams, of our fruitful love together.
Corn pops my moaning screams expanding my emotions.

As the juices drip upon your horn, fulfilling your cravings.
The flow of the sweet nectar like well-aged wine.
Savored with every taste as I  inhale your aroma.

The Cornucopia of life, filled with tender flesh of desire.

Nice expression of the sensuality of fruit and vegetables. I like the fact that your poem is suggestive without being blatantly erotic or overtly sexual.

I really like the vine imagery and the way in which it is a constant reminder throughout the piece of clinging to something and of knowledge. A very interesting selection of words. Anthony.

    Ahemmmmm
Different yet enticing as well. You managed to describe the act of sex as if indulging on fruits and veggies.
    They are healthy you know
    A fun read.

i really really enjoyed this.. it was different to what im used to reading/writing. i have to say though that the 'squashing delight.. and corn pops my moaning.." sort of caught me a bit off guard. those two expressions didnt seem to flow as sweetly if you will with the rest of the piece... or maybe ive just been with the kids too much lately and 'corn pops' made me think of cereal LOL... but seriously, this was wonderful... refreshing

I really like how the first line is your last line, that's kind of how life goes, that's why I like it so much in this poem. It also adds to the feeling in this piece. I think that you did a good job writing this.

Honestly this poem turned me on quite a bit and I don't think me ever reading about fruits and vegetables did that before. I certainly think you deserved a trophy and I can;t imagine who could've done better. Great write. Now I'll be thinking about peppers & corn all day.
