Exploding my firefly
Your light went dark
This sky ablaze
What happens next?
Spiraling forward
Blue lights
Deaths touch
Exploding my firefly.
Did you scream?
(A thousand vaults)
Was there a scream?
(There was no time)
Staying high
Diving low
These cupped hands
A prison
Before the glass.
Drink it up
Pour it out
A final prayer
Pressed between fingers.
Did you scream?
(I went deaf)
Did you scream?
(I didn't hear you)
Dragged your guts
Writing my name
Fluorescent yellow.
A forever reminder
Erased.
