Apricot Rhapsody

I was told that orange is the color of madness.
Nevertheless, today, I am thinking orange.
Or maybe every day?
I felt the smell of ripe apricots
and in my mind I saw Van Gogh's Sunflowers
and orange fields.
Were all these paint tubes at a bargain price?
Who was screaming so loud
into his ear that he had to cut it?

Let me patter. Sometimes I need to think
about strange things.

I am back to the colored voice
(even wires have this magic color, isn't it?)
          slowly coming

conquering and charming the atoms of copper wires
not allowing them to live their stochastic life

          sliding slowly down my spine
(not because of gravitation, because of love)
burning me with the apricot rhapsody.

wonderful poem, I so relate to this.
"Let me patter. Sometimes I need to think

I like the different 'tone' of voices
in this poem, a great read!

Oh lovely poetry...peach, apricot, sun, copper, orange, tangerine...all the colours of love's rhapsody! You do write the heart's music with a gentle touch...wonderfully creative. Somebody once said that if love isn't madness it isn't love at all. So yes, this is love!!

Thank you dear Nic for your always kind words of acceptance and understanding of my kind of poetry. I like orange and oranges, tangerines and all mentioned colors rhapsody. My imagination is always looking for a new challenge, and never allowed me to stay inside the common borders.
