With a brushstroke, a line is drawn;
a subtle enhancement to a life lived on a razorblade.
How heart wrenching it is when the stubborn soul refuses to bend,
rather choosing to lie in the quicksand of staid resilience.
And, yet, something must have intrigued me;
an aura of danger, or perhaps rebellion.
He can take my heart, my inner peacefulness,
and ravage it to shreds;
a sweet torture that turns into a caress
emphasizing the unity of our lives.
In unison we carry on, the pain savage, yet unable to halt the hurt.
Blissfully, aware that nothing changes, we sink into the patterns
formed by unwillingness to yield; destined to suffer for our choices.
We live in a circle of events that will twist eternally.

"And, yet, something must have intrigued me;
an aura of danger, or perhaps rebellion." - it's true isn't it? There's always that touch of danger that intrigues a woman ... we truly ARE strange
