How much I thirst for it
To see this beautiful light
Dancing within inside
In a moment
I'm filled with awe and wonder
Delight and satisfaction
But then I want to tell you
Thank you
For this amazing gift of sight
In your kindness
You have bestowed on me
Let me celebrate it
With all my heart
This gentle music
Playing forever onward
It holds my deepest concentration
So pristine and perfect
It's never-ending song of joy
Excites me to my very core
I could never have imagined
That in this dull vessel
Such brilliant heartfelt magic
could exist
Oh happy heart
Be still enough
To feel that breath
Beating through you
That joyous play inside
Brings so much peace
All other feelings and emotions
Fall so short
Of that amazing feeling
To be alive
To feel this life

This is soo beautiful, amazingly from a gentle heart! Your poem feels like a song play on a piano. When you see the light because of someone close, it's like learning to play all the keys. The high ones as well the low. Love these lines -

Oh this is such an amazing and wonderful write...you lived up to the title of your poem...I loved the flow of your poem...and the vivid words that you've used...like "pristine and perfect" and "never-ending joy"...to name a few...and I do agree with you that 'to be alive is such an amazing feeling' that people should not be taken for granted...
