Never Enough

Never Enough

The main reason why, we reach for the sky,
in vain attempts to claim it all.
We pay no attention, to loss of care, or prevention,
of each other as we fall.
We have all we need, with ability's to lead,
while other people have it rough.
With health, money and food, always in a good mood,
yet still it's never enough.
Will it ever stop, when we reach the top,
is it high enough?
Why care much of our things, from houses to rings,
In the end we cant take all this stuff.
Possessed by possessions, with lack of confessions
Have we only yet to be fated?
If we can't leave this behind, unhappily we'll find,
we'v all been reprobated.

Author notes

I dedicated this poem to Jesus Christ, the one who will take us with our confession from a world of possession.

Need to work on your spelling but that will come with your own personal reading and time.

    Good message and solid poem.
