Echoing in my ears...

Laid atop mine...
The soft, thin fabric...
From my gown...
Is all that is separating you from me...

Are on either side of my face...
So that our eyes are level...
I know that you can see...
Everything I'm feeling...
Reflecting in my eyes...
And yours...

They are stunning...
Intensified...
By the candlelight flickering in them...
I can still see them so clearly...
I knew...
By the way you were looking at me...
That this time..
It would be slow, careful brushes of skin...
Quiet words...
Light, soft, deep kisses...
And just as that thought...
Played it's way through my mind...
You took both of your hands...
And still resting on your elbows...
Ran your fingers along my cheeks....
Not saying a word...
For some reason...
I was so afraid to touch you...
I was afraid I would burn alive...
All you had to do...
Was look at me...
And I could see so much...
And your skin...
So warm...
I never had to think...
When I was with you...
It all just happened...
Running my hands up your sides...
As you drove me silently wild...
Barely touching your lips to mine...
Quiet whispers...
Uncontrollable whimpers...
Light bites...
Feather soft touches...
And slow, painfully slow....

This one is a bit erotic...so please don't read if you can't handle a bit of ...ummm...well..intimacy....so yeah...other than that enjoy...this one is closer to my heart than most of the ones i've ever written. And it's completely freestyle...theres no rhythm or rhyme to it..nor a sense of direction. I just kinda wrote until my pen stopped...**laughs** but yeah...would still like to know waht you all think. As always..enjoy...

It’s not just a lustful desire anymore… its way deeper that that I suppose… an over-sentimental fixation, filled with passion, a yearning for that sensational feeling of love, feelings that are so profound… that with just one moment of bliss, you could never again light that candle without thinking of (whoever you’re thinking about) lol I loved those last line of yours.
That was a really great ending in your poem. It didn’t run that smoothly though. But I guess freestyle poems are that way. (I know, I sort of write free versed poems too)
I did feel your poem which may I say is emotionally well done!
If you want to know if I enjoyed your poem…Well, there’s no doubt of the answer. (I enjoy it… a LOT)
And, I think you have a little typo here… (on the 11th line)
“Lieing” shouldn’t it be Lying?
