I saw you today
You were still the beautiful girl from may
But there was something missing
It hurt me for some reason
The pain was overwhelming but i didn't know why
I talked to you that day
And you still had the sweet voice from may
Our conversation brought me to thinking
That we were still friends
So why was I hurting
I thought about it that day
In my imagination you were gray
The answer was close but I still couldn't grasp it
Maybe I didn't want to find out
Why did I feel that way
I dreamt about you that day
But you didn't want to talk so you went away
It hurt me to see you leave
I woke up drenched not in sweat but tears
I was finally closer to the answer
I hugged you the next day
You felt different
Now i knew the answer
Unfortunately its part of life
Your crush for me was gone and so was mine for you

Very sad tale, but also a very relateable subject and situation. I'm not sure if the rhyme here was intentional or not, but the lines that did rhyme were really good together. Overall nicely done with this piece

I think that some of the rhymes were maybe a bit forced, instead of just letting it flow through.
