Hanging from a Tree

The rope is hanging from a tree
As it tightens around me
The burning sensation of regret
If only I could just forget
So tonight I'll end all the pain
Underneath this sky of rain
And as I'm taking my last breath
Thinking of all I've left
I wonder if you'd even care
To find out I won't ever be there

Please tell me what you think

    Love This

I enjoy the tempo of the poem, as you read. I really can envision a sorrowful being under a grey sky, and the sorrow...lovely piece! Lovely!
