We danced our macabre dance
to kiss our sombre kiss,
to touch all that could touch us
on the breath of a miasma tryst.
To say that we were prisoners
of a pioneered romance,
would ring true of intrinsic whims
and subdued reverence.
We twirl on wisps of intrigue
and subtle enduring dreams,
we danced the dance of macabre
on weathered chastity streams.

Not sure of the "miasma" usage here. However, I enjoyed reading.

Were you trying to rhyme? Because I only see one rhyme (dreams and streams).
