Your Choice

You made your choice
And it wasn't me
I can understand
But I cannot see
Why it couldn't be us

It could have been us

You're moving on
Leaving me behind
While an image burns
In my troubled mind
Of you in bed with her

Of you fucking her

I've seen too much
It's my fault I know
I was much too weak
Couldn't let you go
And now it's time to pay

What a price to pay

We went too far
Down a dead-end track
And it's too late now
There's no turning back
We can never go back

No I wont be back

Please tell me what you think

Well considering you haven't posted in awhile, what a way to come back! This is heart beaking. Sometimes things coud end on a better note than they do, especailly those things, you never see coming. Trust lost, and never given again.

    Very well put.

    Natalia

Thank you Nat... my heart is pretty much broken at the moment. Still... they mend, so I'm told.

Can I just say I relate to this, deeply?

You handle your forms so nicely - this ought to be a song!

    Lovely, LuLuLouise!

This comes right out and grabs you 'round the throat of reality. We are but a sum of the choices we make. I like the form and the directness of the delivery.

    Sincerely,
    Leo Long
