Take this sadness away from me,
this darkened cloud has shrouded me for too long.
No joy or pleasure can be found,
I am withering away,
fading to nothing.
Maybe if the heavens agree,
You'll be sent back to me,
then the skies will shine again.
I can look into your eyes,
tell you I love you,
life will be whole once more.
We can be as we were,
carefree and fun loving,
enjoying life,
smiling and laughing,
dealing with what life brings our way,
finally our union will be complete again.

I Really Loved This Poem!!!I Believe Like You, If You Believe, and Have Enough Faith' God Will In His Time, Sometimes return Lost Things To You, Such as Love, Etc. I had A Dog, That Run Away, Had, Had Him (Frisky) for 10 Years, and He Ran Away,in May, of 1994.My Son, Ws Heart-broken, and I Told My (Now) Ex-Husband, That He Was Coming Back. He said, NO!, Shirley You Might As Well, Forget About Him!!He's Probably Dead, or Something.. I said Nope, Gods' Gonna Bring Him back Home, and Sure Enough, 2 weeks B/4 School started, My Son, and I spotted him@The corner, Of Our Street, Just Standing There!! We ran To Him, Started Calling Him, & he ran to us, & Just Flew, In My Arms. All Of Our Neighbors came out-side and Said, OMG!!!! It's Frisky!! We Were so happy, and What A Blessing!!! He looked like he'd been walking all 3 months , had wore down his toe-nails,etc., and ws skin and bones, but we soon fattened him back up...That's Only 1-Reason I Believe In 'Miracles'. So U Keep On Having That Faith', If it's meant to B, It Will Happen....Lovely Write, and Wonderful words~'God Bless you In Every way'..Love, Shirley ann shaw-raytown,mo............................................
