A beauty behind my brain,
Fleeing the scene of the crime,
A dark shadow follows,
A shadow of guilt,
It burns darkly,
And swallows all in it's path.
A bright blue blade shines ahead,
It's light pierces the artificial darkness,
I finally hold it,
And the shadows are banished to beyond mortal imagination.
Thunder booms,
Lighting slashes the ink black sky.
I now have that which I have longed for.
And It is a bliss unknown to most.

Nice imagery and wording, creating an almost fantasy feel to it,
Loads of intensity with a great message or outcome at the end, well done on a great poem and thankyou for you entry, good luck in this contest,
