Raven's Nest

I am building a raven's nest
one small twig at a time
but I have to assemble it
deep down inside my mind

steadily collecting tiny sticks
molding them with mud and debris
that will soon become a house
for the many voices inside of me

I've kept them all hidden secrets
for about a couple of years
but their screams just get louder
no longer can I fight these fears

I have mothered them gently
and silently nurtured them well
but now I must build them a home
if I am to share this life of hell

        Oh, Hon I miss you too! Things are calmer, and some good news. Found my aunt that I have not seen or spoken to since like '86. And now we talk like everyday. Just lost touch in my many moves... But it is great to have her back! I love it!! Hope all is well!
