whose is that voice inside my head,
throwing out pointless questions while I'm lying in bed.
Just for an instance who invented tartan?,
Who decided paper containers should be called cartons?.
This is the randomness of my inner thoughts,
While sleepily I hold a Kangaroo court.
Setting to rights all the worlds wrongs,
But for sleep I desperately long.
Now here is a list of other thoughts which have kept me awake,
Like a thirst I have been unable to slake.
What is the capital of swaziland?,
Why is fruit canned?.
Why was Elvis so cool?,
What exactly is a strawberry fool.
What causes a stroke,
Did Dracula wear a cloak.
Do dogs like their food,
Are all limericks rude.
What's the difference between a frog and a toad,
Am I the only person not to read the Da Vinci code.
Is paint naturally white,
How high can you fly a kite.
Does space ever end,
forget it I think I'm going round the bend.
