I still remember
the day I smiled
Believing
all…
Hoping too...
For happiness
forever love
true…
Until my heart
gave up beating
Tired of crying,
broken…
Because my mind
knew…
this would be
the last promise…

This is a wonderful poem, written with truely felt sadness. The last stanza really spoke to me, the end of promises... the end of the hopes shared.
Congratulations on the well deserved Gold trophy.

Fantastic poem,

You continue to amaze me sis! Your poem is really sad. I like the way you wrote it, because you left out any unnessecary words, and only the important things were there to tell the story. It became quite epic. Good job!

Yep, just when we were thinking things can't get any worse, they do. The problem with people trying to help us when we are down is simple; they always think we are at the bottom, but there's no bottom, there's always further to fall. - Love the poem. You know Ms Wolfy the image is rather uplifting; for a sentimental guy. ---- Thank you.
