Finding the path

To stray from the path
Is like trying to find an easier way
There's no way to get around it
Even though there's another way, it's just what they say
The call of life
Is stronger than normal when all alone
Don't try and avoid a thrown knife
It doesn't always work
Sometimes it ends up in getting hurt
But sometimes that's better
Than winding up in the dirt
Every so oftern people end up with hate
Even though they don't mean to
The feelin creeps up on them
It opens just like a gate
But sometimes people just don't understand
That it isn't easy to find a path
though once found it's hard to change
It doesn't go away, like taking a bath
They always come back
Even when we're not expecting it
So better pick up that pack
And follow it down to where it ends
No one knows where the path will lead
But always remember, there's harder things than this
You're followed by someone who cares
So follow the road and get the knowledge seed
