There is a fragile window between our worlds
Rainbow glass separating reality and dreams
A new realm is being woven as you read this
A creative gift slowly painting a new tapestry
Within your mind images form giving birth to life
The first seed your thoughts nurture into being
A cry bursts forward as creatures take their first steps
Chirps and whistles blend to filling your mind with song
A breeze rustles newborn leaves gentle and tender
Can you now feel the beauty of your creation
And see the lines of your blueprint slowly fade
As you create misty dwellings and fill the skies
Each breath you take and release forms mountains
A tear falls and a new river is born to fill an ocean
Your heart and blood are the core of life here
Each beat fills the planet sending out more seeds
Filling veins with the minerals needed to live
As this wonder comes into being within your soul
It gives you the strength to finally awaken
And face the reality of another day here on earth.
Author notes
As i was writing this I thought why not make it so this is happening within anyones mind, when you look at a picture what do you see? when i look at a picture i see the picture but then my mind adds a reality feel to it.
though writting it into poetry or a story is something else all together. not exactly easy for me, as I very rarely write poetry im such a lighter note.
When we close our eyes at night it seems to be a the only true time we relax or at least try too, and our dreams I feel give us the strength to face another day or make us feel worse.
This picture I viewed like a two-toned dream/reality.
Sorry for some reason I cant seem to add the picture, it may be that I am not a silver or gold member or that I'm missing something.

Nice notion here about a dream being a metaphor of birth. You have found a nice way to weave the two together seamlessly.
Lovely imagery with a first cry, new-born leaves, breaths and blood vessels...all interacting to bring about a new life from the dream state that nurtures us all.
