This four legged animal
has become my best friend.
Bright yellow eyes,
ears that stand high.
Touch his dark grey fur,
and you will make him purr.
Call his name, and he'll think it's a game.
He will rub up against your face,
then later want to play chase.
He used to live outside,
but now he runs and hides.
He sleeps in awkward positions,
you wouldn't think he used to be a kitten.
He likes to run around,
then he'll plop on the ground.
He meows and meows,
until he gets what he wants.
At night, he likes to snuggled up tight,
then later starts a fight.
Marley is a funny guy.
He's my best friend,
and will be til the end.
