Your first stanza looks liek the pizza hut symbol....
after being distracted by that I read this. and I liked it. the way it was put together and the words used.

Awww, Matt, I hope you come back safely. This is very heartfelt. Was the shape of the words intentional? Love how they look like an upward arrow. The poem itself is heartwrenchingly real. I hope he comes back safe.
