To explain my name,
I can do without being in vain.

I have a child,
So I have to keep it pretty mild.

Her name is Kiarra,
Means lioness, maybe from the Sierra?

I call her Kiki, sometimes kiki bear,
Only cause she can quite easily make you tear.

She can make you scared, tired, and happy,
I hope I am not being sappy.

She is my delight,
So I thought this poem might shed a little light.

That is how I got my screen name,
And no there is no shame.

Author notes

My SN is because of my daughter. I did not know what I was having whe I was pregnant, and to let everyone from other states in my family know what I had, had. I made it my SN.

    Yes. Maybe a bit sappy, but that's okay. When kids are involved, sappy tends to follow. It's the nature of parenthood. ~smile~

    I love it when people's Nicks coincide with their kids names. I use rayshy as a nick on all my other sites cuz my daughter's name is Rainy Cheyenne and we call her rayshy. Wonderful write.

    That is very sweet and sentimental. I had a hard time reading some of the words because of the white on white. If you could adjust this it might make reading it easier. The picture is delightful. Thanx for entering a good write. Goodluck, Conni
