Irony

Do we live?
Or we always are preparing to live
The question puzzled me
And following me like a shadow.

Oh! The God designed
a zero sum game,
Deceptively placed it in life
gave that marvelous brain
to resolve this mystery.

We try to break this game
Think we succeed
Try to beat him in his own game
Just as we does through a game of dice.

One who understands this game
is one truly liberated,
not one that gives up
with lost hope,
but only who realizes
that ultimate sum is zero.

Author notes

The sum of ironies of life is zero

Who knows, maybe this is just preparation for something afetr. Maybe God is waiting for someone to not be beaten by the struggles of life. Hmmm. Makes you think

This is such a wonderful poem with so many great lessons to learn within this. You have done well here to express this and the ending is perfect. All the best for the contest.
