Goodbye Michael
Echoes in the wind,
I see your face again.
I heard your voice then,
Now there is no end.
Tears of sunlight rise
Through my tired eyes,
Crying isn’t enough for me,
Hoping this would never be.
Sinking in deeply through a wandering soul,
Looking for you as time grew old.
Never wanting to say goodbye,
Wonder why you had to die.
Voices of reason never spoke to me,
All I knew is this wasn’t just a dream.
Gone for now, living inside of me,
No one can take my dreams I had to part.
Now I must say goodbye to my brother
I have always loved,
For the angels have you now,
God’s gift from above.
